School Age/Kids Kare
Our school-aged program is called Kids Kare. We provide care for children starting with kindergarten through age twelve.
Hours: 6:30 AM - 9:00 AM 2:00-6:00 PM
Days: Monday - Friday
Extended Care: 6:00 - 7:00 PM Add. fee
Transportion Included to selected schools
Staff ratio: 1 staff to 12 children
Homework help provided.
Full time summer and holiday care is also available.
Activities include intramural program, swimming on Friday's, reading time,
arts & crafts, educational learning centers, guest speakers and limited field trips.
Kindergarten children attend school in the morning/afternoon and attend "Y" after. We provide transportation to selected schools.
A scheduled day of fun and homework help await our "Y" kids. Once off the bus...the day gets started with a quick snack and on to a basketball or soccer class then back for homework help.
Friday's is the favorite day...you will find us in the pool for recreational swim. Computers are available for homework or games. The room is divided for quiet activities or if you are interested in air hockey or the soccer table a game is just around the corner!
Gyms, racquetball courts, a large outdoor playgroud area and of course the swimming pool are only part of a great time at the "Y." |
