Group Lessons
The Bethlehem YMCA offers a progressive swim program. This means that every level in the program is a building block with vital skills and development requirements for the next level. The YMCA wants your children to progress and mature at their own rate. Parents must be aware that not all children progress at the same rate. Please assist us in making your children aware that this is not due to failure. Some individuals need more work in specific areas than others.
Instruction is caring and personalized. A variety of classes are available to meet your family's needs: morning, afternoons, evenings, and Saturdays. Class size is determined by considering safety factors and the age of the participants, making sure classes don't get too big to be comfortable. We understand that you may miss one class due to vacation, therefore, the price is pro-rated to reflect 5 lessons.
Parents are encouraged to watch each lesson from the observation area, provided they are not causing a distraction.
Pool Inclement Weather Policy
For the safety of the members the pool will be closed during thunderstorms. When lightening is seen and/or thunder is heard the poll will be closed until 30 minutes after the storm stops. the lifeguard will reopen the pool at his/her discretion. No refunds or credits will be issued for a missed class due to thunderstorms. |

Bethlehem YMCA Stars Swim Team

Get ready for the upcoming swim season or just perfect your stroke. the four competitive strokes will be practiced, along with starts and turns. Beginner clinic is for children 8 and under or with no swim team experience. Advanced clnic is for ages 9 and over with swim team background.

Flick N' Float
Looking for something to do with your family and friends on a Friday night? Lounge around on water noodles and floats while watching a movie. The movie will begin at 6:00 p.m. We will have snacks and drinks available to purchase after the movie. Limit 40 people.
